A great festive atmosphere could be felt throughout Arlington Business Park last week, as we welcomed the local community to its annual Christmas Fayre.

From 11:30am until 2:30pm, people who work on the park, members of the public, friends and families were treated to a whole host of free activities.

Excited shoppers were certainly spoilt for choice with over 35 stalls selling a great range of gifts including handmade decorations, jewellery, personalised gifts, delicious homemade fudge and jams and other accessorises.

Children and pupils from local schools and nurseries including Theale Primary, Avenue School and Burghfield Primary were excited to receive a free present from Father Christmas and his Elf in a specially designed grotto. They also took part in Christmas arts and crafts activities and workshops.

As an extra treat, visitors had the chance to meet real life reindeer outside the sites new café and gym, the children learned about many facts about the reindeer and also had the chance to feed them their favourite Festive snack, carrots.

For a Christmas winter warmer, free mulled wine and mince pies were served in the new Café @ No10, where other Christmas food could be purchased.

At the end of the day, a raffle was drawn with all profits going towards Dimensions UK; a charity based at Arlington Business Park who provide personalised social care services for people with learning disabilities and autism, including challenging behaviour and complex needs.
